Did anyone ever figure out how to "upgrade" their battery for those that are range limited? I figure if people really wanted to they could compare to an unlimited model and transfer the firmware somehow. Not that this would really be worthwhile for time or risk or the limitations from preventing an overwriting firmware from downloading. I know Tesla was trying to crack down on that, but they don't really have the say after they sell it to you other than to say that it could void the warranty and it annoys me when they try to control something that is not theirs.
